How they feel and sound
Cherry MX Brown
A soft bump partway down tells you the key has registered, with no click. Quiet enough for shared spaces, and a common first tactile switch.
Gateron Brown
A very light bump near the top, then smooth to the bottom, with no click. So gentle that some people mistake it for a linear; cheap and common.
Both recorded on: Tofu60 aluminium case, brass plate, foam under the plate and PCB, GMK Mitolet keycaps (Cherry profile)
