What stays on your device
The site remembers your choices in your browser’s storage: your layout, where you shop, your volume, and whether we’ve asked you about the email list. They never leave your device, and clearing this site’s data in your browser removes them. We don’t set cookies of our own, and there are no analytics or ads.
The email list
If you join, your email address is kept by Kit, the service that sends our emails, so we can send you what you signed up for: news of new switches and sounds, and the odd offer from us or keyboard makers we work with. Offers always come from us. We never sell your address or give it to anyone else.
Every email has a link to unsubscribe, which takes you off the list straight away. We send these emails because you agreed to them, and you can change your mind at any time. Kit is based in the United States, and its privacy policy explains how it looks after your data.
Shop links
Some links to shops are affiliate links: if you buy something after following one, the shop may pay us a small commission, at no extra cost to you. The shop can use cookies to know you came from us, under its own privacy policy. We only see totals, never who bought what.
Hosting
Cloudflare serves the site. Like any web host, it handles your IP address and the details of each request in order to deliver pages and keep the site secure. We don’t use any of this to identify you or track what you do.
Emails to hello@findyourswitch.com also pass through Cloudflare, which forwards them to our Gmail inbox.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it: email hello@findyourswitch.com. If you’re unhappy with how your data is handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
